The best thing about college is pretty much everything, I'm away from home for the first time, I get all the freedom in the world, and they I have to take responsibility into my own hands.  However, there is one thing that i would love to change about college (besides not having my family here) is that my boyfriend and i go to completely different school in different states :/  He attends the University of Cincinnati and I'm in Lexington.  We have had our ups and downs, but always end up working things out.  We have been together since Junior Year of High School and until college we were inseparable.  At the beginning of college we had a rough patch, but things couldn't be better.  The song College Girl is a song my friend said explains Danny and i.  Its about a girl who is at school away from her boyfriend.  Honestly, that's the only thing i hate about college!!  Not only is he my boyfriend, but he is my best friend that i absolutely tell everything to. idk what i would do with out him.  I love you Danny :]

Honestly, UK's library isn't a place to study. Its more like a social event.  Everyone talks as loud as possible and you can't get anything done.  Only if you go during the day or are here until 4 in the morning, but otherwise you can forget it.  However, if you are one of those dedicated people then you can go to the quite rooms, where if you talk then you get stared at, so if your not a wispier then you can just forget that! This 5 story building isn't like a normal library its a place to take the "frat lap"- were girls go looking for cute guys they know to sit with or for you to catch up with the gossip of the things that happened the weekend before. Its not normal, but people do get things done even if they have to stay they until 4 in the morning!

Weather

This weather is so crappy!!  One day it was perfect and the sun is shining then the next its raining hard and looks like a tornado is coming.  I latterly walked to school yesterday morning in flip flops and a jacket, but when i got out at 5 it was raining so hard i looked like i jumped into a pool when i got home.  I wish the weather  could change and be warm from now on, it would be amazing.  But his weather is killing me, i hate it

Wake Up Call

English Class

We have a research paper due next week sometime... and he doesn't know how to explain anything.  He lectures the whole time, which is very boring and then when he is done before anyone could ask questions the class is already 10 Min's early and I'm rushing to make my next class.   I wish he wouldn't lecture the whole time and let us work on our papers and he could just be there to help us..  An 8 page paper i want to get an A on but it looks like I'm not gonna do very well.  I guess I'm going to have to take it to the writing center for help.... but AHH 8 pages:/ that's going to be a hard one.  oh and by the way i didn't get to pick the topic... BIG SURPRISE he did, and its about FOOD... i don't even know where to begin... FML

Final Four Baby!

UK's Basketball team beat the  number one team Ohio State on Friday night, and they had a game Sunday evening. That same UK team who beat Ohio State beat North Carolina, with toward the end was a very close game.  However,  This was what happened in Lexington last night:
